AI & EdTech as Climate Criminal
New publication by Colm O'Neill - the Tech Justice coordinator of the Union - highlighting the ecological destruction of AI and other EdTech used in education institutions. In Ireland, where public institutions are legally mandated to reduce their climate impact, the widespread promotion and use of AI can be considered illegal and misaligned with the mission and purpose of higher education institutions. Out now in the Irish Journal of Technology Enhanced Learning.
