Join the Launch of the North American Branch on Feb 26th
JOIN Climate Justice Universities Union (CJUU)’s new North American branch to
• respond effectively to attacks on climate science, truth, and academic freedom,
• fight for climate, environmental, and social justice,
• teach, research, and promote campus operations in ways that foster genuine and lasting community, agency, equity, and sustainability, and
• nurture a new generation of scholar-activists.
This will be the first organizational meeting. All welcome. Please share this invitation widely: all North American college or university affiliates are welcome to join! RSVP for Feb 26/join our mailing list here; online-only participants Zoom-register here.
We plan to foster...
- Collaborations (compile and share scholarly resources, pedagogical tools, and organizing tips)
- Talks (watch our first sponsored panel: Resisting AI and Big Tech)
- Actions (possible partnerships with Indivisible, Scientist Rebellion, Faculty for a Future, others)
- Connection (share campus news, meet colleagues in person, network within/across institutions)
